We've decided not to hold a DNA SIG meeting this month. It's August. Everyone is trying to make one last trip to the beach before Labor Day, getting kids (or yourself) ready for school, along with everything else life throws at you. And AAGS already has two other programs in August. If you missed Eve Love's talk on Probate Inventories, the recording will soon be available on our website for members, and coming up next week (August 13 at 7:00pm ET) is Allison Peacock's presentation, "Finding John Pumphrey - A Colonial Era Genetic Genealogy Investigation." I encourage you to attend. This is a genetic genealogy-related talk, so we're hoping it will satisfy your quest for DNA knowledge until we reconvene next month.
Date: August 18, 2026
Location: Online - Zoom
AAGS DNA SIG Meeting
Our 2026 meetings include a mix of basic and intermediate topics, covering DNA testing, tools, and analysis, and maybe even a speaker or two. We encourage members to contribute to our meetings, share problems you need help resolving, or present your research and discoveries. Contact us at dna@aagensoc.org and we’ll put you on the schedule.
