Because churches often kept records before governments did, they can be especially helpful for finding information about women, immigrants, minorities, and young children. Learn how to identify your ancestor’s place of worship, locate surviving records, and use them to solve research problems such as maiden names and overseas birthplaces.
This will be a joint program with the Howard County Genealogical Society. The program is open to the public.
