We are looking for a new Editor for Anne Arundel Speaks, the eNewsletter of the Anne Arundel Genealogical Society. This is your opportunity to contribute to the Society and shape the future of Speaks. For nearly fifty years Speaks has been a valuable member benefit, educating and informing our members on both genealogical topics, and Society activities and events.
Qualifications:
- Be an AAGS member;
- Have an xcellent command of English writing, spelling, and punctuation;
- Be able to work independently and with others.
- Previous experience publishing an eNewsletter is desirable, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Design the newsletter layout;
- Establish the newsletter schedule;
- Work with the AAGS Board and Society members to identify newsletter content;
- Collect and format articles for the newsletter, and write articles as needed;
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for the newsletter workflow;
- Meet newsletter publication deadlines (currently quarterly).
