Contains 36 known burials, although there are many handmade markers, many illegible.
During the Civil War the Davidsonville Methodist Church was the only Methodist church in southern Anne Arundel County to withdraw from the Northern Methodist Convention and become a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church South which supported slavery. The black Methodists who had attended that church founded the Union Methodist Church.
