The cemetery is located on an active military base. Identification is required.
Fort George G. Meade also housed a World War II prison camp. Thirty-three German POW soldiers and two Italian soldiers are buried here as well as Army, Navy, Air Force, Air Corps, and QMC military personnel and their families. Contains many children’s graves
