Maryland Gazette newspaper article, June 23, 1984 indicating that a gravestone from 1852 with the name “Pumphrey” had also been found. A policeman remembered “about a dozen graves formerly in the area, including those of children dating from the early 1800’s and were apparently all Pumphreys”.
Cedar Hill Cemetery, Section H, Brooklyn Park, Maryland-Charles Pumphrey was re-interred.
