The land was patented under the name “Charles His Forrest”. Philip S. Wales of Baltimore City, bought the land from Thomas Creamer and his wife, Jane, also of Baltimore City, on September 20, 1859 [JHN#5-f. 442].
There was a deed between Philip S. Wales and Thomas S. Wales in 1862 [NHG#10-f.574] and a mortgage between Thomas S. Wales and Margaret, sister of Thomas and Charles A. Robinson, of 425 acres on November 4, 1882 [SH#20f.110].
