The tombstones are supposedly being preserved at 1525 Furnace Avenue, not at the original cemetery location (February 1984). Slaves supposedly were also buried there, but supposedly actually buried across the street.
Admiral Charles owned the property, consisting of 237 acres, at one time.
A family pedigree chart of Henry Hodges, Sr. is on file.
Human remains were found when his yard was being excavated for a swimming pool.
