Gate plaque: “Beard-Hall Memorial Cemetery”.
Fifteen graves were known to be intact in 1975. An area 25 ft. wide was dedicated all around it, as well as an access road to it. Family members cleared the area and built an enclosure around the cemetery. (50 ft. x 50 ft.) and recorded as about 100 ft. x 100 ft. There is an additional tombstone base found outside the chain link fence.
In Renee Beard’s treatise on Rutland she says there are 22 identifiable graves according to information published in Crownsville Cemeteries by Emily Holland Peake, copyright 2002, p. 33 - the cemetery is listed as the “Beard Cemetery”
