The marble tombstones were removed to an inside building in 1994 and the Boy Scout markers were placed in the cemetery surrounded by a white fence.  This was done to safeguard the stones.  The tombstones were stored inside until circa 2000 when they were placed within the fenced in area again; however, not in their original locations.  Anne Cemetery Inscriptions of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Vol. 2, by the Anne Arundel Genealogical Society, copyright 1987, p. 3
