InstitutionalCemeteries.org is an attempt to catalog all known cemeteries established for residents of asylums, poorhouses, poor farms, prisons, orphanages, and similar institutions. The goal is to get every one of these cemeteries – and the name of every person known to be laid to rest in them – on Findagrave.com, and to index and collect information about those cemeteries in one place.
Tours of the Burying Grounds The Burying Grounds are open to the public daily during daylight hours (8 a.m. - dusk). Plaques are set up throughout the Burying Grounds that explain the history of the Grounds and tell the biographies of many of the people buried here. The outside Burying Grounds are free of charge. The Catacombs and Westminster Hall are only available to see with a tour guide.
