St. Anne's Churchyard Cemetery
(Anne Arundel)
Church Circle
Annapolis, Maryland 21401
St. Anne’s Churchyard Cemetery on FindAGrave

Tombstones range from 1697-1817
Approximately 22 tombstones

This was the town’s cemetery until 1790 when Elizabeth Bordley gave land for a new city cemetery. When digging occurs within the vicinity unidentified bones are often found. There are so many forgotten graves that the church buries these remains in the main cemetery where a plaque reads: Citizens of Annapolis who are here interred in unmarked graves, 1696-1789”.
Many were re-buried here from elsewhere.
